TO THE COMMUNITY SINCE 1965!!! GRANTS The Bargain Box, at its discretion, donates the net proceeds from the sales in its store to qualified Beaufort County charitable agencies inf the form of Cash Grants. To apply for a Cash Grant you must: | ** | Represent a registered section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization | | ** | Demonstrate a bona-fide financial need for assistance, and | | ** | Be involved in worthwhile activities relating to education and youth, health, public welfare, church or recreation, and | | ** | Operate in Beaufort County |
Grants are made annually with grant applications being due on May 1st of each calendar year (additional information is available on the grant application). In general cash grants will not be made to individuals or national fund-raising drives. The following is a list of organizations that received a Bargain Box Cash Grant in 2012:

The Bargain Box also provides in-kind support to various local agencies - primarily from donated items.
